  I guess my review was deleted because this center plans to continue letting their nurse practitioners prescribe dangerous birth control pills. I was told 'THIS IS NOT A FAMILY PLANNING CLINIC' when I simply tried to obtain appropriate birth control, and asked what the labs would cost for their required full work up. It is ridiculous not to give patients SOME range of what labs will cost. But instead I was treated like LESS-THAN. I hope that no other woman has to go through this, has to go sit in her car and cry for how poorly she was treated inside this office. Furthermore, I was rushed through the consultation, and was given dangerous birth control which caused a heart arrhythmia. I gave full disclosure about any and all factors in my life and was still made to figure out on my own after I left that the pills she gave me were exactly the WRONG kind for someone who even just occaisionally smokes cigarettes. I'm still getting over these effects which are now slowly subsiding. I've missed work, income and had numerous panic attacks.... all because this office couldn't be bothered to provide even the barest care or decency to me. They were perfectly willing to take my hard earned money though. Thoroughly LET DOWN. If the doctor cares about her patients she should make sure the nurse practitioner is actually doing her JOB instead of downplaying patient needs and giving out inappropriate medication. This was TOTALLY UNNECESSARY. If this review is deleted again I will re-consider suing your office for the health effects and lost wages I've suffered. AND FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T ADVERTISE BIRTH CONTROL SERVICES IF YOU"RE NOT WILLING TO PROVIDE SUCH SERVICES ETHICALLY or EFFECTIVELY.
